1874 Kansas City building saved from demolition, set to become restaurant and apartments

In Kansas City, a historic gem originally at risk of being demolished is undergoing a transformation into a vibrant restaurant and apartment space. Developer Chris Sally acquired the Seiden's Furs building following a partial roof collapse. The renovation plans honor the building’s historical elements while modernizing its infrastructure. The new restaurant, Loretta Jean's, is set to welcome diners in autumn 2026, contributing to the preservation of Kansas City’s architectural heritage.
