8th Pay Commission Bengaluru meeting today: Postal employees seek higher pay, HSG-I upgrade

The 8th Pay Commission begins its Bengaluru meeting today as employee unions push key demands on pay, allowances and service conditions. Postal employees have sought Level 9 for HSG-I, Level 10 or above for HSG-I (NFG), Group B gazetted status and a 10% responsibility allowance.
