AICTE introduces four schemes to strengthen India's technical education infrastructure and innovation ecosystem

AICTE has introduced four schemes under its Infrastructure Development and Capacity Building initiatives for 2026-27. The programmes include IDEA Lab, Grant for Organising Conference, MODROBS and Margdarshan. They will provide financial assistance to eligible technical institutions for practical learning facilities, academic conferences, laboratory modernisation and institutional mentoring. The initiatives also focus on research, innovation, academic collaboration and improved institutional performance, including outcomes linked to the National Institutional Ranking Framework.
