Assam government to open 80 more schools in tea garden areas, says CM Himanta Biswa Sarma

The Assam government plans to expand educational opportunities. Eighty new model schools will open in tea garden areas. Mid-day meals are planned for older students. Smart classrooms will be introduced. The government will enhance school infrastructure. Teacher service conditions will improve. Bicycles will be provided to students. A school breakfast program is also under consideration. Health checkups will be mandatory.
