At 13, this UAE student built an AI education platform that won gold and an open-source tool for AI developers

At 13, UAE student Adam Ahmed developed ScoolBot, an AI-powered, gamified education platform aligned with UAE Ministry of Education standards. After his first project reached the Top 20 in a DDS AI challenge, ScoolBot placed fourth and later earned Gold at the International AI Awards 2026 and TeenTech Awards 2026. While developing the platform, Adam also created Bothread, a free, open-source tool that helps AI coding agents coordinate tasks and avoid conflicts.
