Big relief for JEE aspirants: IIT Roorkee opens counselling route for candidates below 75% marks in CBSE Class 12

IIT Roorkee has said that students who do not meet the minimum Class 12 marks criteria can still participate in the ongoing JEE Advanced counselling process. However, final admission will depend on meeting the required marks and document verification. The institute has also asked candidates to submit updated scorecards by July 15. The update comes amid concerns around CBSE’s marking system and reported discrepancies in Class 12 answer sheets.
