CBSE Class 12 re-evaluation 2026: What students should know about rechecking and correction process

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has outlined the post-result process for Class XII students seeking evaluated answer sheets, verification or re-evaluation. Students must first download answer scripts between May 19 and May 22, review them for discrepancies, and then apply for correction from May 26 to May 29. CBSE acknowledged possible evaluation errors in nearly 1.25 crore scripts. The board clarified that revised marks may increase or decrease based on expert review outcomes.
