Cooper’s Firehouse Home: Anchor restores 1906 patrol house; 9/11 legacy endures

In 2010, renowned journalist Anderson Cooper acquired a historic fire patrol house in Greenwich Village, prompting concerns among preservationists about the building's fate. Fortunately, it was preserved within the South Village Historic District. A poignant feature of the property is its connection to Keith Roma, a brave Fire Patrol member lost during the 9/11 tragedy. The residence now beautifully merges its rich history with a modern home.
