​Ramaswamy's opinion on the H-1B visa program which allows US companies to hire foreign workers is aligned with that of Elon Muska and Donald Trump, but his rant in which he bashed the American culture for celebrating mediocrity, for adding more value to the prom queen than to a math olympiad champ "irked some Republicans in Trump's circle".
