Donald Trump picks lawyer Alina Habba as counsellor to US president

Donald Trump has appointed Alina Habba, his former defense attorney, as counselor to the president. Trump lauded Habba's loyalty amidst his legal battles, including the recent hush-money case conviction. He also announced State Department appointments for Michael Anton as director of policy planning and Michael Needham as counselor.
