Former Florida Congressman Lincoln Díaz-Balart dies at 70

Lincoln Díaz-Balart, a former U.S. congressman and advocate for Cuban freedom, died at 70. Serving South Florida from 1993 to 2011, he championed democratic reforms and immigrant support. He helped draft NACARA, aiding refugees. He is survived by his wife, son, grandchildren, and siblings. A public memorial Mass will be announced.
