GEMS Education to launch 21 school projects and SEBI-backed AIF in India

GEMS Education India, part of the Dubai-based Varkey Group, has announced an expansion plan with an investment of up to USD 30 million over the next three to five years. The strategy includes opening more than 30 GEMS-operated schools, partnering with 1,000 schools, and establishing a School of Education for teacher training and research. The company has lined up 21 school projects, with five campuses opening in 2026, while also launching a SEBI-regulated AIF for infrastructure development.
