Google expands globally with $15B AI data centre hub in India, largest outside the US

Google will invest $15 billion over five years to build a 1-gigawatt AI data centre hub in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, its largest outside the US. Announced by Google Cloud CEO Thomas Kurian, the project aims to boost India’s AI capacity amid global competition for data infrastructure.
