He left an IIT degree and a corporate job in Dubai to wear the Army uniform; now this former Captain has joined IIM Calcutta

Capt. Amar Simha Yadav’s journey spans engineering, corporate life, military service and management education. After graduating from IIT Mandi and working with L&T in Dubai, he left a promising career to join the Indian Army, where he served for over six years as a Combat Engineer Officer. Leading troops and managing critical operations, he later chose another challenge by joining IIM Calcutta’s Executive MBA programme, continuing his pursuit of leadership, learning and purpose-driven growth.
