A severe heatwave across India has led multiple states to revise school timings, announce early summer vacations, and order temporary closures. With temperatures crossing 44°C in several regions, schools are operating in early morning shifts to avoid peak heat hours. States including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, and Odisha have implemented schedule changes, while others such as Tripura and West Bengal have declared closures. Safety measures like water breaks and restrictions on outdoor activities have also been enforced.
