Himachal reports rise in government school admissions as 24,000 students leave private institutions

The Himachal Pradesh government has said nearly 24,000 students shifted from private to government schools this academic year following the rollout of the CBSE curriculum in public schools. Alongside education reforms, the state announced plans to add 330 postgraduate medical seats and upgrade healthcare infrastructure, including advanced diagnostic equipment and robotic surgery facilities.
