IIM Vizag, Andhra govt to foster entrepreneurial spirit in villages

Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam’s FIELD incubation hub has partnered with the Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty under the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana – National Rural Livelihoods Mission to launch the Sampannakari initiative in Andhra Pradesh. The programme will incubate 150 women-led SHG enterprises over two years, offering mentorship, financial support, and capacity building. It aims to boost rural entrepreneurship beyond agriculture, enabling scalable growth, improved livelihoods, and sustainable economic development across districts statewide.
