IIT Council plans pilot adaptive tests to modernise JEE Advanced and ease student pressure levels

The IIT Council has proposed introducing adaptive testing for JEE Advanced to modernise the examination system and reduce student stress. Discussed during a Council meeting chaired by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, the plan includes a pilot adaptive mock test, formation of an expert committee led by JAB and IIT Kanpur, development of dynamic question tools, and creation of mental health professional posts across IITs.
