In 1974, Australian ranger proposed wildlife bridge; 52 years later, it opened over motorway

An innovative wildlife crossing, born from an Australian park ranger's fifty-two-year-old vision, has finally been realized. Cawleys Bridge has been modified to facilitate safe passage for important wildlife across a bustling motorway. This enhancement allows species like koalas to navigate between vital habitats such as Heathcote National Park and Garrawarra State Conservation Area.
