ISRO opens YUVIKA 2026, sets strict merit criteria to scout Class 9th talent for space science

The Indian Space Research Organisation has launched YUVIKA 2026 to introduce Class 9 students to space science and technology. Selection will be merit-based, with added weightage for rural students and extracurricular achievements. The programme will run at nine ISRO centres, with travel, accommodation and course expenses fully covered by the agency.
