J&K universities get six months to roll out ‘Design Your Degree’ programme; LG Manoj Sinha calls for higher education reforms

Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has set a six-month deadline for universities in the Union Territory to introduce the Design Your Degree programme. At a high-level Higher Education Council meeting, he stressed outcome-based reforms, better resource utilisation, research and innovation, academic collaboration, and the proposed integration of artificial intelligence and data science into university curricula.
