JNUSU has accused JNU Vice-Chancellor Santishree Dhulipudi Pandit of making misleading claims about medical assistance provided to rusticated student leaders during the ongoing hunger strike. The union alleged that the leaders were denied check-ups during the protest’s initial six days. The administration has defended its response, citing medical care, discussions with protesters and assurances given to some groups.
