Judge bars Trump admin from closing US peace institute, says its takeover by DOGE 'illegal'

A US federal judge has blocked the Trump administration's attempt to dismantle the United States Institute of Peace (USIP), deeming the takeover by the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) as illegal.
