KGBVs in Crisis: Transparency, Infrastructure, Fund Mismanagement, Teacher Shortages, and Safety Concerns Highlighted in NCERT Report

The Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas (KGBVs) are grappling with serious issues, including lack of transparency in fund utilization, infrastructure deficiencies, teacher shortages, and safety concerns. A recent NCERT evaluation revealed underutilization of funds, inadequate facilities, and poor working conditions for wardens, all of which undermine the educational experience. Addressing these challenges is crucial to fulfilling the KGBVs' mission of providing quality education to marginalized girls in India.
