Kuwait introduces new tinting rule for cars: What drivers need to know before hitting the road

Kuwait has officially raised the legal limit for vehicle window tinting to 50%, as per Resolution No. 1398/2025. This new regulation, effective immediately, allows for tinted glass on all vehicle windows except the front windshield, provided it meets factory specifications. Reflective films remain prohibited to ensure road safety and visibility.
