Minimum credit score not mandatory for first-time loans; will it benefit personal loan borrowers?

MoS Finance Pankaj Chaudhary said in Parliament last week that banks could not insist on a credit score for first-time borrowers. This means that even borrowers with no credit report will be eligible to raise personal loans.
