NMMSS Scholarship 2026-27 applications close on August 31; check eligibility, benefits and application process

NMMSS Scholarship 2026-27: The Ministry of Education has opened fresh and renewal applications for the National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMSS) for the 2026-27 academic year through the National Scholarship Portal. Eligible students can apply until August 31, 2026. The ministry has also announced the verification schedule for institute and district nodal officers. From this academic year, students may apply for one merit-based scholarship along with one or more welfare-based scholarship schemes, subject to eligibility.
