Pennsylvania charter school staff accused of abusing children in emotional support program

Twenty staff members at Chester Community Charter School in Pennsylvania face charges for abusing 26 children in an emotional support program. The accusations include using painful restraint techniques and failing to report child endangerment. The abuse, which occurred in 2024, was captured on surveillance footage. The school has since terminated the staff involved and ended its contract with the staffing agency. Investigators also found the staff lacked proper training in restraint techniques.
