Seven ragging complaints reported across Rajasthan medical colleges in one week, NMC, UDF seek probe

Seven ragging complaints have been reported across seven medical colleges in Rajasthan between October 10 and October 18, 2026. The latest concerns Pandit Naval Kishore Sharma Medical College in Dausa, where a first-year MBBS student has alleged harassment, humiliating acts and threats by seniors. The National Medical Commission has sought a detailed Action Taken Report within 24 hours. The United Doctors Front has called for impartial investigations, student protection and accountability wherever institutional lapses are established.
