Three former semiconductor engineers—Sujoy Chakravarty, Ravi Mehta and Biman Chattopadhyay—built a successful chip IP company, sold it to Synopsys, and launched Bengaluru-based Quanfluence to develop room-temperature quantum computers. After months of studying quantum technologies, they chose photonics as the most practical approach. Supported by academic experts, the startup now offers commercial cloud-based quantum computing solutions, demonstrating India's growing capabilities in frontier technology while highlighting the importance of lifelong learning, engineering excellence and innovation.
