TNEB Recruitment 2026 to open for 20,449 vacancies across Tamil Nadu power sector

Tamil Nadu Electricity Board will release its Recruitment 2026 notification in July, announcing 20,449 vacancies across multiple posts, including Assistant Engineer, Technical Assistant, Multi-Purpose Field Assistant and Gangman. The recruitment drive covers TNEB and allied power sector organisations, with online applications expected from August 2026. Vacancy details include 12,500 Multi-Purpose Field Assistant posts and 839 Assistant Engineer positions. Separate recruitment plans have also been approved for TANTRANSCO, TNGECL and TNPGCL.
