Turkey arrests five mayors from CHP opposition party

Turkish police have arrested five opposition mayors and 17 others amidst corruption allegations targeting municipalities held by the CHP party. The arrests included a former lawmaker, three Istanbul mayors, and two from Adana, bringing the total number of jailed CHP mayors to eleven.
