UPSC bars candidates already ‘selected, appointed’ as IFS, IAS from Civil Services Exam 2026; check CSE guidelines here

UPSC announced 933 vacancies for CSE and IFS 2026, restricting eligibility for candidates already appointed as IAS, IFS or IPS. Candidates must relinquish previous appointments to qualify for CSE 2026, while IPS candidates can reattempt under certain conditions.
