Yale School of Management ends diversity-focused PhD Project ties after federal investigation

Thirty-one American universities, including Yale, have ended their ties with the PhD Project. This nonprofit supports underrepresented students pursuing doctoral degrees in business. The U.S. Department of Education investigated these partnerships for potentially violating anti-discrimination laws. The department stated that judging individuals by skin color is rejected. The PhD Project continues its work to develop business school faculty.
