Zoho founder Sridhar Vembu steps back from public engagements: ‘I have to ship some code’

Zoho founder and chief scientist Sridhar Vembu announced on 15 Oct 2025 that he will take a temporary break from external engagements to focus on completing a delayed coding project, saying he wants to practise what he preaches about deep tech and hands-on innovation.
