Three D Y Patil scientists feature in Stanford’s global top 2% rankings

Three scientists from Dr D Y Patil Medical College, Pimpri, have earned recognition in Stanford University’s 2026 rankings of the world’s top 2% scientists. Dr Amitav Banerjee was recognised for his career-long research, while Dr Sarika Chaturvedi and Dr Sachin Atre featured in the annual list. Their work spans epidemiology, traditional medicine, tuberculosis and public health.
